[[NGD]] — New Gold Inc. (New Gold), incorporated on January 31, 1980, is a natural resource exploration and development company. It is engaged in the acquisition, exploration and development of natural resource properties. New Gold does not produce, develop or sell mineral products.

The Company’s principal focus is the exploration and development of the New Afton Project, located approximately 10 kilometers west of Kamloops, British Columbia, near the Trans Canada Highway. The New Afton Project is located 350 kilometers northeast of Vancouver and 10 kilometers West of Kamloops in the south central interior of British Columbia. During the year ended December 31, 2007, the Company commenced development activities on the New Afton Project. In July 2008, New Gold Inc. acquired Metallica Resources Inc.
